Joseph Stansky founded and directed Sportstar Academy, a professional sports camp, for 10 years before purchasing Camp Mesorah. He received his Bachelors and Master's degrees at the University of Rochester and Smicha from Rabbi Rudinsky of Monsey in 2003. Joseph was a Rebbe, Athletic Director and Basketball Coach at the Adolph Schreiber Hebrew Academy of Rockland (ASHAR) for three years. He started playing tennis when he was six years old and competed in local, national, collegiate and international tournaments and has been teaching tennis for over 25 years. Joseph grew up in Belle Harbor, NY and now lives in Monsey with his wife Chaya, daughters Rachel and Sarah and sons Moshe, Yaakov, and Dovid. |

Rabbi Katz is the Assistant Principal at the Yeshiva of Central Queens. Previously, he was the Assistant Principal and Director of Student Activities at Hillel Yeshiva in Deal New Jersey. For six summers, he was the Head counselor at HALB’S Avnet Country Day School. Rabbi Katz has a degree in Accounting from Sy Syms School of Business and is continuing in a Masters in Education and Administration program. Ari and his wife, Deena, spend the entire summer at Camp Mesorah with their four children Yonatan, Talia, Ayala, and Tziporah. |

Naomi is a founding staff member of Camp Mesorah and has served in a variety of positions such as division head, chinuch stafff, office staff and assistant head counselor. She is entering her ninth summer as girls head counselor. During the year she teaches language arts to junior high school students at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey in River Edge, New Jersey. She has taught at RYNJ for the past eleven years. Prior to that she coordinated resource room services at North Shore Hebrew Academy in Great Neck, NY for ten years. When she is not working on making Girls campus incredible she is a mom to five wonderful children who have gone through or are continuing to enjoy Camp Mesorah and wife to Rabbi Mark Landsman, Principal of Yeshiva of Central Queens. |

Rabbi Neuman joins the Mesorah family after years of camping experience, most recently as Boys' Head Counselor at Camp Lavi.
Ami earned his B.S. in Information Systems from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University and earned a Masters in Jewish Education and Administration from Azrieli while studying for semicha in RIETS. He is currently the Director of Student Activities and Varsity Hockey Coach at RTMA in Elizabeth while doing course work towards a doctorate in Jewish Education and Administration. Rabbi Neuman is married to Ariella and they have three children: Avigayli 6, Devorah 4, and Elisheva 7 months.

Lisa has been the Head Counselor for the teen girls program at Camp Mesorah for the past seven years. She is the Assistant director of Midreshet AMIT, a woman’s seminary in Jerusalem. Lisa is a graduate of Stern College for Women with an MA in Bible from Bar Ilan University. A veteran teacher, with experience in Jewish education in the U.S., Australia and Israel, Lisa has recently completed her doctoral studies in Bible at Bar Ilan University and is the new principal of the Jerusalem Torah Academy for Girls. Lisa, her husband Rabbi Michael Fredman and family reside in Efrat, Israel. |

Many Mesorah campers and parents know Rabbi Fogel as the popular eighth grade Rebbi at the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB) who manages to give his all to his students both in the classroom and on the sports field. While teaching full time at HALB he is also pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology. In addition, Rabbi Fogel is a sought after educator who the Board of Jewish Education has tapped for assistance with professional development. Leib describes himself as a a "camp person" and his years of camping experience include serving on the administration of Camp Dora Golding and Camp Kochavim. Rabbi Fogel and his wife, Yocheved, have two young children; Asher 3 and Yehoshua 1 1/2.. |

Rabbi Rosner is the Rabbi of the new Nofei HaShemesh community in Bet Shemesh where he also serves as a Rebbi at Yeshivat Reishit Yerushalayim. He was previously the Rabbi of Congregation Bais Ephraim Yitzhok in Woodmere, NY. Rabbi Rosner is a graduate of Yeshiva University where he received his BA in Economics and received an MS in Jewish Education from the Azrieli School after studying for two years at Yeshivat Shaalavim. His daf yomi shiurim are listened to around the world at www.yutorah.org. Dr. Tamar Rosner, the Rabbi's wife, also joins the Camp Mesorah staff as the camp pediatrician. The Rosners and their six children have been at Camp Mesorah since 2002. |
Camp Mother (Boys): Deborah Plotsker |

Deborah Plotsker is the Boys' Camp Mother and has worked at Camp Mesorah since 2005. Deborah monitors children with food allergies, oversees all aspects of the boys' care on campus and is a liason between parents and their sons while in camp. Deborah lives in West Hempstead, when she is not in camp, along with her husband and four children. |

Sheri assists all girls who have special dietary requirements, including those with gluten, peanut and other allergies. She oversees all girls’ laundry needs, and helps them keep their clothing organized and their bunks neat. She also helps girls cope with other issues that may arise during the summer, including homesickness. Sheri liaises with parents of campers who have special needs. This summer will be Sheri’s 10th year in Mesorah. When she is not playing the role of Mom during the summer, she plays it to her four children at her Woodmere home. Sheri has a Masters Degree in Special Education from Hunter College. During the year, she runs HeadHunters, a lice-checking and removal service. , |
Rosh Kollel: Rabbi Meir Goldwicht |

Rabbi Goldwicht, a prominent Israeli scholar, educator, and a Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva University's Mazer School of Talmudic Studies, is the head of the Stone Beit Medrash Program. As Mesorah's Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Goldwicht oversees a Torah learning program for post high school boys which sits in the middle of the Camp Mesorah campus and has extensive contact with Mesorah staff and campers. |
